NOVA WRESTLING RANKINGS: Top 10 Wrestling teams in Northern Virginia

Tracking high school wrestling teams through the month of December, the following is the Corner of the Mat Top 10 teams in the Northern Virginia area this 2022-23 season. While some teams have traveled out of state for individual competition and other teams may have had wrestlers out due to late November football playoffs, our NOVA ranking is strictly based on Virginia HS. teams competing with local Northern Virginia teams only.

5 Paul VI
6 Skyline
7 Woodgrove
8 Thomas Edison
9 Liberty (Beal)
10 Chantilly

Teams that are on the bubble:
Stone Bridge, George C. Marshall, Loudoun Co., Independence, Lake Braddock, Woodbridge, Brentsville, Forest Park, and Kettle Run.

While the wrestling season rolls into January dual season, look for the Corner of the Mat to do additional team ranking in the weeks ahead.
