On December 13th, 2022 Osbourn HS. hosted a home wrestling match where past Alumni came out to show support to Leroy Williams and his years of service. A celebrating of Mr. Leroy Williams 40 plus years of service to Manassas City Public Schools and coaching the middle and high school wrestling programs over the years. Truly, a life-long dedication of service. The new Eagle wrestling mat is designed with a huge eagle head on the mat. Earning pins as a youth today must feel GREAT as Leroy was front and center, actually witnessing Eagles earning pins. Osbourn defeated Osbourn Park 42 to 35 in a home match. An exciting finish had Osbourn with a point lead entering the final 285 weight class and winning the meet with a pin in the final match. But this night was all about Leroy Williams and the Osbourn wrestling team presenting this NEW wrestling mat to honor his years of service. It was a fabulous event and great to see everyone.
