Beast of the East: One of the biggest wrestling events on the east coast was the 31st Beast of the East wrestling tournament which took place at Univ. Delaware. While most NOVA wrestling teams only could enter a few individuals to this nationally ranked event, 15 NOVA teams brought their best wrestlers to this show. Mountain View HS. entered 13 wrestlers, the most of the NOVA teams, and clearly showed they had strength to complete and finish in the top 25. Mountain View had a total of nine wrestlers earning team points as 138 Tyler Traves went (8-3, 6-place) and was the only team member to place for the Wildcats. Booke Point HS. only entered four wrestlers as 144 Chase Van Hoven, who wrestled in the Iron Man last week for the Blackhawks, continued to prove that he is on a mission for 2023-24 season. He was the only Virginia wrestler to reaches the Championship finals and earned a second place. Brentsville District HS. finished in 52nd place third best out of all NOVA teams. They entered four wrestlers as they were led by 126 Evan Sanati and 150 Billy Tyler earning most team points for the Tigers. Both wrestlers placed six at the Beast.

Individual NOVA NOVA (Girls) placement: Beast of the East: Complete (girls) results Pat Dulany Invitational: Taking place at Langley HS. this individual wrestling event had Thomas Edison HS. winning by 38.5 points over Paul VI. The Eagles were led by 120 David Dight, 126 Bradley Goodwin, and 150 Colin Jackson, who all took first place among a record high total of 13 individual placers.

Fairfax HS. outscored the field with 244 team points with eleven total placers and four champions: 165 Ali Khawaja, 175 Mohammad Elhajj, 215 Harry Maltese and 285 Micah Gillespie. Loudoun County HS. took second place and had two champions in 132 Lincoln Kelleyc and 150 Rocco Zagorites.

This wrestling event took place at Meridian HS. in Falls Church, VA. Woodbridge HS won this event with 211 team points and four first placers: 150 Andrew Burgos, 165 Michael Bertrand, 190 Benjamin Aliu, and 285 Daryl Woral. The team had a total of 12 placers.
Mustang Holiday Classic Team Results: Mustang Holiday Classic Complete results Cav Classic: This was a small level individual wrestling tournament that took place at W. T. Woodson HS. in Fairfax as West Springfield put nine wrestlers in the finals with six champions: 113 Jackson Aparicio, 132 Anton Kirichenko, 138 Gregory Barnett, 144 Abai Beishembiev, 150 Hayden Carl, and 175 Wylan Snoddy.
Cav Classic Team Results: Cav Classic: Complete results Other Notable Wrestling Results: Mechanicsville Holiday Classic: Taking place in Mechanicsville HS. in Richmond Virginia, Independence HS. won the event with 217.5 team points and had two champions: 126 Lucas Johnson and 165 Nick Kellen with a total of ten indivdual placers.
